One year later…

This week is a special week here at DRB! One year ago we announced the launch of Dark Room Boudoir and man what a ride its been! We are still just two kids teaching the world to love themselves. This year has brought us some amazing clients, many lessons learned and countless amazing opportunities. We are so thankful for the community that has showed us so much love and support! Y’all truly mean the world to us.

Its been a crazy experience navigating the ins and outs of business but its also been so incredibly rewarding. I know I preach a lot about what boudoir has done for me and how much its allowed me to find myself again and really be myself and being able to share my story with others and hear how boudoir has helped our clients has been more than I could ever ask for.

We have learned so much in the last year. One of the biggest lessons we have learned is boudoir has no boundaries. It means something different to each and every client who walks through our doors. Everyone has their own reasons from wanting to experience boudoir. It usually starts of as a gift to a partner or spouse and transforms into something they didn’t even know they needed for themselves. Some are celebrating an achievement such as weightless, divorce, new found self love. We love each and every reason!!

We have also gotten to know so many clients and hear their stories, everyone has come from different walks of life and that is the beauty that lies within boudoir and why we say it has no boundaries. Everyone has their own reasons for wanting an experience, everyone has a different vision for their photoshoot. I can be letting go of inhibitions and going completely nude or it can be just putting themselves out there in an outfit they would have never worn before. It's all about what boudoir means to you!
